Belt and Road Scholarship

一带一路奖学金

A loose category of scholarships targeting students from Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries. There is no single program literally named 'Belt and Road Scholarship'; however, the national Chinese Government Scholarship Silk Road Program (丝绸之路项目), administered by the China Scholarship Council, is the de-facto national BRI scholarship. Beyond it, provincial/municipal governments (e.g. Jiangsu, Beijing, Xi'an) and individual universities run their own BRI-branded scholarships. The Jiangsu provincial government funds BRI students under the BRI edition of its Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship.
