Annual scholarship awarded by the Zhejiang Provincial Government to outstanding international students enrolled in full-time degree programs at higher education institutions in Zhejiang Province. Paid as a fixed annual award (per year, not a monthly stipend). Divided into Type A for graduate students and Type B for undergraduates.

- Coverage
A fixed annual award (每人每年) intended to cover registration fees, tuition fees, fees for basic learning materials, accommodation fees, and serious disease and accident insurance.
It is paid per year, not as a monthly stipend. Type A (graduate students): RMB 30,000 per student per year. Type B (undergraduate students): RMB 20,000 per student per year.
(A third tier, Type C for long-term study scholars at RMB 6,000/year, also exists.) Funding period is one year; students with excellent academic performance may reapply in subsequent years.
These amounts are set by the provincial management measures (jyt.zj.gov.cn) and confirmed by Zhejiang University's International College 2025 selection notice (iczu.zju.edu.cn, October 21, 2025).
- Eligibility
Full-time international undergraduate and postgraduate students (except first-year students for the renewal cycle) currently registered at a Zhejiang university, whose studies will continue beyond June of the award year.
Must abide by Chinese laws and university rules, have excellent academic performance or good research outcomes, and not concurrently hold other scholarship funding in the same year.
New postgraduate students applying at ZJU must also meet the university's admission requirements.
- Deadline
For incumbent students applying in-year: application deadline approximately end of October (2025 cycle: October 31, 2025 at ZJU). For new international postgraduate students at ZJU: February 28, 2025 (2025–2026 cycle) / February 28, 2026 (2026 cycle).
Deadlines are set by each host university.
