- Coverage
Full scholarship covers: tuition fees, teaching material fees, research and survey fees, English-taught program allowance, dissertation guidance fees, on-campus accommodation, monthly stipend (CNY 36,000/year for master's students = CNY 3,000/month; CNY 42,000/year for doctoral students = CNY 3,500/month, from secondary sources citing official MOFCOM recruitment notices; these figures are consistent with CSC stipend tiers and reported in the MOFCOM Sierra Leone embassy 2025 notice context), a one-time resettlement fee of CNY 3,000, comprehensive medical insurance for international students, and international round-trip airfare (one round-trip on arrival and departure, plus one home-visit round-trip per additional year for multi-year programs).
- Eligibility
Senior officials, university faculty, or corporate executives from developing countries (age ≤45, preferably with ≥3 years of work experience). Master's applicants must hold a bachelor's degree; doctoral applicants must hold a master's degree.
Minimum GPA ≥3.25 (4-point scale) or ≥4.0 (5-point scale). HSK Level 3 or above is advantageous. Must have medical clearance from a Chinese physician.

MOFCOM Direct-Recruitment program: applications to Chinese embassies typically by end of April of the application year. MOFCOM-CSC Joint Program: typically by mid-May. Admission results announced approximately July–August. Specific country deadlines vary by Chinese embassy.
