~15–30% (est.)Jilin University publishes no acceptance rate for international applicants. Admission is materials-based through its College of International Education: applicants must hold a foreign passport, be 18-30, and hold a high school diploma.
Chinese-taught programs require HSK; the English-taught MBBS additionally requires an entrance-style academic screen (scores above ~70 / C-level in math, physics, chemistry and biology) plus English proof (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 70, with per-section minimums).
Domestic (mainland) students
Top ~2–5% provincial (est.)Admission for mainland students is by gaokao score ranking within each province; no acceptance rate is published. Jilin University is a Double First Class / former Project 985 & 211 university and is among the most selective in China, typically requiring gaokao scores in roughly the top ~1-2% of test-takers in a given province.
Language of instruction
Most undergraduate degrees are Chinese-taught, but Jilin University offers full English-taught bachelor programs including the English-medium MBBS (Clinical Medicine, IELTS 6.5) plus a small set such as Law and International Economy & Trade taught in English.

How admission works
Chinese-taught humanities, social sciences, and science/engineering programs require HSK 4 ≥180. Chinese-taught clinical medicine requires HSK 5 ≥180. English-taught MBBS (33000 CNY/yr) and Nursing (40000 CNY/yr) programs available without Chinese language requirement.
